The development on Tweedbank Drive is to comprise of a 71-bed Premier Inn hotel, a Costa drive through and a BP petrol filling station with M&S kiosk.

The hotel was granted an operating licence by Scottish Borders Council last month.

No formal date for the completion of the project has been announced by developer New Land Assets.
