Local police are appealing for witnesses after a housebreaking in West Linton.
The incident happened between 11.30am on Wednesday, December 23 and 9.30am on Saturday, December 26.
Jewellery and cash were stolen from a house in Linton Bank Drive.
Constable Andrew Loughlin, of Galashiels Police Station, said: “A housebreaking is a horrible experience for someone to go through.
“There’s a possibility four housebreakings that have occurred in the areas of West Linton, Peebles and Eddleston in the past two months have been committed by the same person, so any information will help put a stop to this.
“Anyone who witnessed someone acting suspiciously in Linton Bank Drive between Wednesday and Saturday, please contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
