More than 150 riders took part in this year’s annual Yetholm rideout.
On a dry but cold day, principals Mark Dixon and Caroline Raw, the Bari Gadgi and Bari Manushi, led the way at the start of the ride, crossing the village green in Town Yetholm.
Three and a half hours later the 168 riders and their horses returned to the village.
The procession entered Kirk Yetholm under the golden light of the setting sun, preceded by the Kelso Pipe Band.
Councillor Alec Nichol gave the speech of welcome and presented the prizes - in this case to the youngest rider in the cavalcade.
