CHAMBER choir Caledonian Voices make their first visit to Peebles’ Eastgate Theatre next week.

Based in central Scotland, they perform popular works within the choral tradition, as well as new commissions.

Caledonian Voices was founded in 2010 by current musical directors Andrew McTaggart and Calum Fraser.

Andrew studied conducting as a second study while at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

He is also a writer and presenter for the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. His other roles include assistant musical director of St George’s Singers, the musical director of The Cheshire Consort and Calum founded The Martin Harris Singers in 2007.

Calum has appeared in masterclasses with Richard Bonynge, Peter Broadbent, Robert Dean, Alice Farnham, Karen Grylls and Eric Whitacre.

Caledonian Voices appear on Tuesday at 7.30pm.
