The facility is designed to allow pupils to read for pleasure – not just because the curriculum tells them to – and includes an SBC-funded drinks machine for warming cups of hot chocolate, comfy sofas and an eye-catching tree-shaped bookshelf – designed by the school’s caretakers and built by pupils.
