One hurt in lorry crash at farm south of Hawick

One person has been injured when a lorry crashed off a farm road in the Scottish Borders.

The Fire and Rescue Service says the lunchtime accident happened at Teindside Farm off the A7 between Hawick and Teviothead.

Fire crews from Hawick and a special rescue tender from Galashiels were alerted.

It’s understood the lorry was carrying dead farm animals. The condition of the injured person is not yet known.
