The Coldstream Parade of Colours team who made a sponsored visit to memorials in the Borders and north Northumberland last year are hitting the road again.
This time they will visit memorials to the Battle of the Somme with its centenary on July 1, to raise funds for Berwickshire High School’s annual battlefield tour.
Led by Keith Cockburn the team head to Stranraer on Friday, April 1, for a sunset act of remembrance, accompanied by RBLS Stranraer branch and the KOSB Association.
On Saturday they start the homeward journey at Castle Douglas with another sunset commemoration. Then on Sunday April 3, the team will visit Lockerbie where they will be joined by Armed Forces Bikers.
From there they will visit memorials at Jedburgh and Cranshaws, among others.
