Top marks for Peebles dancers
Peebles-based Fiona Henderson School of Dance ended 2019 on a high with its pupils receiving news of outstanding dance examination results just after Christmas.
Almost 150 exams were sat by FHSD pupils in early December and there was 100% pass rate across the board, with the dance school itself once again being assessed as 100% for its facilities, organisation and pupil presentation.
School principal Fiona Henderson said: “We were absolutely delighted for our pupils – this was a fantastic end to the dance year with 98% of our pupils being awarded the highest or second-highest grades available. We are very proud of them and their results.”
The school was awarded silver in the UK Dance School of the Year 2019 competition.
