Thieves strike at Scottish Borders garage

Parts worth over £7,000 have been taken from cars on a Scottish Borders garage forecourt.

Police Scotland is appealing for information following the theft of five catalytic converters from cars at Border Toyota in St Boswells.

They were removed between 7.15pm on Monday, September 1 and 6.45am the next morning.

Inspector Carol Wood said: “Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious at the St Boswells garage on September 1 or 2 is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 or, alternatively, phone the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
