The grass seems bluer on the Eastgate side


CELTIC and bluegrass band Goldrush hope to produce a five-star showing at the Eastgate Theatre on Saturday, July 23.

The five-piece was formed in 1989 by John Sheldon and made its debut at the Guildtown Bluegrass Festival.

The current line-up of John, Alain Le Grand, Paul and Danny Hart and Kenny Marshall collectively and individually have decades of experience ranging from the Edinburgh International Festival to the European World of Bluegrass.

The band also runs workshops and performs on the Scottish Bluegrass Association’s Bluegrass in the Schools programme.
