Please could we say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make our sixth BIG Event an even bigger success than the past five.
Special thanks to Gala Town Band who kicked off the afternoon with its fantastic medley of tunes.
Also, thanks to Amanda Richard for her ability to prove that even the more mature person, the poorly-balanced person, and the fit and active persons can all enjoy some form of fitness and fun. The exhibitors and public who took part in the Zumba dance and activities which she led all had a very enthusiastic and enjoyable experience.
Thank you to all 30 exhibitors who proved the Borders has a lot to offer, whether it be academic learning opportunity, learning for leisure or learning to improve the quality of living.
Everyone who came into the Volunteer Hall on Thursday learnt something, and the feedback that has been left will help us to continue to grow and improve what is an annual showcase of life in the Borders.
Thank you also to Chris, the Volunteer Hall manager – he was a real gentleman and no matter what was asked of him he was able to help without a grumble.
