Studio on the Green receives £3,001 grant

The Studio On The Green in Selkirk has been granted a £3,001 award from the Big Lottery Fund '˜Awards For All'.

Artistic director Jenna Agate said the grant is “very welcome” and explained that it will be used to improve and replace the studio heating system.

She said the new heaters will be more energy efficient and will help to reduce the studio’s carbon footprint.

The Studio On The Green has been providing creative and performing arts activities for all members of the community, of all ages and abilities, since it’s inception in 1990.

Situated in an old textile mill in Selkirk the Studio provides a warm, peaceful and welcoming setting in a professional level dance studio. In 2015 the studio celebrated its 25th anniversary.
