Stewards’ thanks

I would like to thank all landowners who gave Kelso Civic Week permission for the Kelso Laddie and his followers to ride across their ground.

Without this help Civic Week would not exist.

My thanks go to Dougie and Jock for all their help and support not only through this year, but previous years. Thank you to all the mounted stewards, foot stewards and members of the public who have assisted. A big thanks also to Border Search and Rescue Unit members for their continued support, as well as Thistle Electropics for the use of radios and Lothian and Borders Police.

Mark Halliday

(chief steward)

I would like to thank the following people and organisations for making my job as chief foot steward of Kelso Civic Week much easier – Lloyds Landrover for use of a vehicle, Lloyds Tractors for use of its quad bikes, the three lads for parking cars at The Haugh, Yetholm, and all others who have assisted me through Civic Week.

Jock Darling

(chief foot steward)
