How unfortunate that the recently-erected road sign at the Station Road exit from the new roundabout on the A698 at Kelso should be misspelt.
We wait 1,000 years for one to come along, then manage to misspell “millenium” (sic) when directing visitors to Kelso’s Millennium Viewpoint.
Are these types of signs, indicating points of interest, the responsibility of Scottish Borders Council or perhaps VisitScotland? How much does such a sign cost to manufacture and erect – and how much extra to get it right? And who ultimately foots the cost?
