Scott Street woman’s death is “unexplained” say police in Galashiels
A 41-year-old woman was found dead in a house in Scott Street, Galashiels, on Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called to the address and found the woman’s body.
Her death has been described as “unexplained”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers attended a property on Scott Street, Galashiels, around 1.50pm on Tuesday, 10 December, 2019 following the sudden death of a 41-year-old woman.
“The death is being treated as unexplained pending the results of a post mortem.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
