Rural heating fuel controversy hotting up

I agree with W. Loneskie that rural residents are paying through the nose to heat their homes (letters, January 3).

I am now charged 74.4p per litre for LPG, plus a charge for having a MacGas tank.

When I queried the price, I was told if I signed a two-year contract it would deduct a few pence.

Mine isn’t an isolated tank in the middle of nowhere – there are others in the vicinity.
