Real Time are a sellout

The band, headed by local artist Kenny Speirs, performed to a packed audience prior to their departure on their tour of Germany.

Kenny, Eilidh, Carly, Tommy and Dave have now packed up their instruments and are heading for the Black Forest region on Tuesday.

They will spend the next two weeks touring the area promoting Scottish Folk music.

The Real TIme tour is an annual event and has been instrumental in attracting many visitors for many years to the Borders over the Hogmanay period, especially for the annual ‘Land The Light and the Locals’ concert.

The concert is tremendously successful and has attracted many visitors from Germany and Holland who return year after year.
