Five Primary 6/7 pupils from Ednam Primary School have visited Prague in the Czech Republic.
The trip was part of the school’s Comenius Project involving 10 schools across Europe, and the pupils visited the Czech school as part of its planning activities.
During the visit, Ednam pupils Reagan, Connor, Abbie, Amelie and Isaac worked with pupils in their partner school, where they were involved in question and answer sessions, sporting activities as well as teaching Scottish dance and songs.
The youngsters also enjoyed a traditional meal with a Czech family, visited Prague Zoo and learned about the history of Prague during tours of the city.
They also met the Mayoress of Prague and ended with a cruise on the river Vitava on the final evening, where a fireworks display brought their week to an end.
In a blog on the school’s website, class teacher Tom Pike commented: “A memorable time was had by all.”
