Potholes blast

AN allocation of £2million by Transport Scotland to plug the potholes has been branded a quick fix by John Lamont the Conservative MSP for Roxburgh and Berwickshire.

He commented: “This is just a drop in the ocean. With a lack of public transport alternatives, our road network in the Borders is even more important than other parts of the country.”

He maintained that both the current SNP government and the previous executive (Labour/Lib Dem) had been reckless in their disregard to roads.
