Scottish Borders Council (SBC) will host a live question and answer session on its social media pages on Wednesday (December 17), to give Borderers the opportunity to engage directly with the managers responsible for the winter service, including gritting roads and footways across the Borders.

The council’s asset manager David Richardson and neighbourhood operations manager Kenny Hastings will be answering questions from Twitter and Facebook live from 11am until noon.

Mr Richardson added: “We are aware that residents have many questions about how we treat our roads across the Borders and we welcome the opportunity to use social media to have these conversations.”

You can submit your questions ahead of the Q&A by sending a direct message via Facebook.com/sbcouncil or via Twitter @scotborders using the hashtag #sbcwinter.
