Labour choose their man

At a meeting in Kelso, the Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk constituency Labour party selected Kenryck Lloyd-Jones to fight the upcoming general election.

Mr Lloyd-Jones was born in Wales and moved to the Borders more than 20 years ago. He is married with two daughters, and works for a trade union representing health professionals.

Mr Lloyd-Jones is also a member of the Co-operative Party and Unite, and is the chair of the Berwickshire branch of the Labour party.
