BBC to hold election debate in Selkirk

The four Ettrick, Roxburgh and Berwickshire constituency candidates will all be in attendance. They are:

>Jim Hume (Liberal Democrats)

>Paul Wheelhouse (SNP)

>John Lamont (Conservatives)

>Barrie Cunning (Labour)

Interested members of the public can apply to be in the audience through a portal on the BBC’s website

The regional hustings debates are a great opportunity to look specifically at the core issues impacting the local community and will give the audience an opportunity to hold the politicians to account.
