Police search for missing man, 57, from Jedburgh

Police in the Borders are appealing for information to help trace a man reported missing in Jedburgh.

William Notley from Bongate Gardens was last seen In Jedburgh at 1200hrs on Wednesday January 13.

However, police say the 57-year-old has not been seen or heard from since and concern is now growing for his welfare.

Police Constable Nick Walker said: “Anyone who can assist in locating William is asked to contact police immediately.”

He is described as white in appearance 5ft 6in tall, slim build with brown hair. He was wearing Dark coloured clothing

Police Scotland are keen to establish William’s whereabouts as soon as possible and anyone who believes they have seen him since Wednesday is being asked to come forward.

Constable Walker added: “In addition, we would ask William to get in touch with friends, family or police and let us know you are safe and well.”
