Santas get on their marks, set and ho at Harestanes
The unseasonally mild weather failed to detract from the colourful event, kicking off a month of festive celebrations at the country park and visitor centre.
Now in its third year, the fun run saw a wave of Santas of all ages stroll, jog, walk and run their way around either a 3km or 1.5km route.

Hide AdSanta run organiser Lori Lee, of the charity Live Borders, said people from as far afield as Coldstream and Eyemouth had travelled to the central Borders to get into the festive spirit.
“This event is an ideal day out for those already in the festive spirit, as well as those who need some extra encouragement,” she said.
“It was great to see people who have participated in all three events back once again to enjoy what was a brilliant day out to start the festive period.
“We were lucky it stayed dry this year but we had plenty of smiling faces taking on the course and enjoying the Harestanes atmosphere following the run.”
