The former scrum-half announced his retirment from international rugby last month in order to focus on his club career which currently sees him tied to French side Clermont Auvergne.
With that in mind we thought we’d dig through out photos archives to share some of Greig’s best moments in the navy blue jersey. The 34-year-old grew up and came through the ranks as a player in Jedburgh, where he began playing with Jed Thistle and Jed-Forest. He became a regular part of the Scotland team during the 2012 Six Nations, going on to captain the side more than any other player, in 39 of his 76 appearances. He racked up 714 points in that time too, second only behind Chris Patterson, meaning that the Jedburgh man will go down in history as one of his country’s greats.
