Riders descend into Priesthaugh.

IN PICTURES: Sun shines on Priesthaugh rideout

A ninety-strong cavalcade followed cornet Connor Brunton to Priesthaugh on Tuesday.

Supporters enjoyed a picnic in the sun as they awaited the arrival of the principals and riders, who enjoyed a two-hour break before heading back to town.

Riders were held up temporarily as a loose horse was recovered at Acreknowe.
