Organiser Graham Easton told Selkirk Community Council on Monday: “We were asked if we could leave 1 Tower Street as they wanted to use it for pop-up shops again, which was fair enough.

“We’re now into 5 Tower Street until August.

“As lockdown eases, our work has been dropping off gradually, but we’re still collating what we’re doing every week, and there is still a demand for us as people are still shielding.

“Our members are still carrying out 30-40 tasks per week, whether it be shopping or walking dogs.

“They’re now looking forward to getting some well-earned time off.”
