Borders singer Kim raises cash for children’s charity with online gig enjoyed by thousands
Kimberly Ferreira, originally from Jedburgh, sang live over from her Kelso home, taking requests through comments from the hundreds of people enjoying the gig from their living rooms during the lockdown.
Her gig, still available to watch on Facebook by searching Kimberly Brown- Singer, has accrued more than 5,000 views.

Hide AdThe 35-year-old mum, who works for Lindsay and Gilmour pharmacies in Selkirk and Hawick said: “ We got amazing support for Cash for Kids.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who donated.
“I feel passionately about this charity and the work they do in the Borders to support local families. The money everyone donated will go a long way to helping others. The gig went better than I could ever have predicted.”
