BBC in shout out for questioning Borderers

The BBC has once again called for volunteers to appear in an upcoming episode of its Debate Night programme, which will focus on issues affecting Borderers.

The show, which has been moved from October 28 to November 11 following a reshuffle of the BBC Scotland programming schedule, will see locals virtually posing their questions through Zoom to the panel, which will be announced one week before filming.

A spokesperson for the show said: “As a Debate Night audience member, it is your questions which lead the debate and the stories, experiences and opinions you share with us that matter most.

“It is the only TV programme of its kind in the country to allow members of the general public the chance to put your questions directly to Scotland’s key decision-makers and public figures each week.

This will also give people more time to sign up for the programme by filling in the online form here.
