Earlston athlete Lee Goodfellow regained his World Championship haggis eating title at Birnam Games at the weekend.
Lee, 23, right, who won the championship in 2011, 2012, and 2013 before coming second last year, beat his own world record by a massive 30 seconds, guzzling the haggis in 47 seconds.
He told us his secret: “You just have to guzzle it down using your hands. Some try to make a porridge out of it with beer or suck it out like a toothpaste ... there are some fairly mad methods.
“I ran in the 90m and 200m races before the haggis championship, and competed in the relays after it, which was interesting.
