NOSTALGIA: 2006 Borders athletes run with the stars
This week in 2006, local athletes were mixing with Scotland's top track and field stars as part of a Bank of Scotland talent development camp at Grangemouth.
Our picture above shows, from left, Emily Douglas and Amy Falconer (Gala Harriers), Lee McConnell (Commonwealth Games 400 metres silver medallist), Faye Nicholson and Beth Williamson (Moorfoot Runners).
The athletes were put through their paces in a variety of events led by some of Scotland’s leading coaches and athletes, including Commonwealth Games finalist Darren Ritchie from Galashiels.
