Niamh sheds her crowning glory to help other princesses

Niamh Megahy has joined the growing number of kind-hearted youngsters doing something very special to help others.

The eight-year-old Denholm primary pupil had her hair cut on Saturday to raise money for the Little Princess Trust, who make wigs for children who have lost their hair, often through cancer treatment.

Niamh’s mum Rachel said: “She had over 10 inches cut from her hair to be made into a wig for the trust and I’m so proud of her.

“I could tell when it got cut off she was a bit upset, but she absolutely loves it now!”
