Musicians blow into Selkirk

A Breath of Fresh Air will flow through Selkirk from St John’s Church on Sunday, May 29 at 7pm when local Borders wind groups play music for a summer’s evening.

Second Wind, Syrinx Flutes, Tutti Flutti and Wind Power were part of the outreach programme of the Scottish Borders Community Orchestra until it ceased musical activity last autumn.

Under Lis Dooner, Tracy Short and Amy Ward, this is their first joing concert since each decided to continue independently.

Tickets, including light refreshments are £5 from performers or at the door – accompanied schoolchildren free. Phone Elizabeth Raitt on 01573 224494 for more details.
