Police in the Scottish Borders are appealing for information to help trace a man reported missing in Jedburgh since Tuesday.

William Notley (58) from was last seen at his home address in Bongate Gardens around 5.15 am Tuesday (24th November 2015).

William sometimes sleeps outdoors or in remote farm buildings and barns and has been known to travel on public transport around the Jedburgh area.

He is described as: smart appearance; white; 5ft 6 inches tall; slim built; receding brown hair; speaks with an English accent.

William is believed to be wearing blue jeans, a yellow polo shirt under a khaki green jumper and a grey hooded top and black Sketcher trainers.

Police officers are now urging anyone who can assist with their inquiries to come forward.
