A SHOW of life drawings and paintings celebrating the human form has opened in Old Gala House.
Lifers showcases work by tutors Liz Douglas, Joy Parker, Niall Campbell and Sylvia Quinn Home and invited students of the Borders College life drawing classes.
Sylvia said: “The model is only there for a short time and the human body offers everything artistically, line, form, colour, texture, tone and beauty.
“Life drawing exhibitions don’t take place very often so this is a great opportunity to enjoy the work of all these artists, their different styles, different techniques, and use of different media, in this unique display.”
Most of the works are for sale. Lifers runs until September 22 and is free.
