The glitz and glam of the cabaret is coming to Kelso’s Springwood Hall for a £40 dinner on Friday, December 20.
The Las Vegas-style Christmas, complete with red carpet and glasses of fizz, features a three-course dinner by Gary Moore, followed by a cabaret show of gravity-defying acrobatics by glamorous showgirls in feathers and rhinestones, and a dance floor led by retro DJ Lord Holyrude.
Borders-based theatrical singer Paul Gailley also brings his vocals to the evening’s entertainment, with Christmas melodies for a joyful singalong in the festive spirit.
The cast of showgirls, who have graced the stages of Las Vegas and Paris, will present burlesque-inspired classics with a high-kicking, sultry and sophisticated twist, promises organiser Lisa Macleod of Borders-based Lee Marcey Events.
“The world-renowned French Fling showgirls will be fluttering their feathers and peeling to perfection with a (very) high-kick, a smile and a wink. We are delighted to also be joined by a selection of the finest cabaret style performers Scotland has to offer.
“Prepare to be amazed, amused and awe-struck by breathtaking burlesque and cabaret.”
The cabaret performers, from Scotland’s Ambition Events and Burlesqueandcabaret.com, have performed at The National Museum of Scotland and in Edinburgh Fringe show, Vive Le Cabaret.
