The event will take place on Saturday (March 21), between 10am and noon, at Langlee Community Centre, Galashiels.
The theme is bring a friend and dress in blue and yellow, so even if you think you are unfit and not ready to do two hours of exercise, come along and give it a try for a good cause.
Tickets are £10 for two hours of zingy Zumba, with all proceeds going to the Friends of Central Borders Citizens’ Advice Bureau. There will be a raffle and Scottish Water are providing free water on the day, with Tesco supplying fresh fruit.
Jocelyn Naylor, of FitBorders, said: “Exercise is such an important way to keep active and moving. With a Zumbathon, anyone can come along and enjoy two hours of great music, great fun and share in the energy of the event.”
Mike Turner, of Friends of Central Borders Citizens’ Advice Bureau, said: What a great way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday morning – getting fit and raising money for a local charity. We really appreciate the contribution of everyone taking part. ”
