John Lamont re-selected as Tory candidate for Holyrood

John Lamont MSP has been re-adopted as the Conservative candidate for next year’s Scottish Parliament elections.

The Coldstream-based politician was unanimously selected to defend his Ettrick, Roxburgh and Berwickshire seat at a meeting of members on Monday in St Boswells. He was first elected to Holyrood in 2007.

Lamont said: “It is clear that next year the fight will be between the Conservatives and the SNP.”
