The meeting began with Jim’s memories of playing at Twickenham, Parc Des Princes, Cardiff Arms Park, Landsdowne Road and Murrayfield. Over tea members enjoyed looking at May Sinclair’s unique collection of old rugby programmes, all of which featured Jim. To close, members watched vintage footage featuring Jim.

The last meeting of the season, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Hawick’s 1996 cup victory, is on April 7.
