Jim Mihulka, of Redpath, shows off the silverware after winning the British begonia championship at Ayr Flower Show.

It is only the second time someone from the Borders has lifted this title (John Runciman, Peebles, triumphed in 1986). Jim also won best exhibit in show with his board of 12 blooms as well as a prize for his cut blooms.
