Jack and Cassie show their pride in Yetholm
An all-covering mist only added to the atmosphere at this year's Stob Stanes ride-out, led by Yetholm's principals.
Bari Gadgi Jack Sibbald and Bari Manushi Cassie Quashie led the way at the start of the ride, crossing the village green at Town Yetholm.
And, while only those within 30 yards could see villager Stuart Smith deliver his recital on top the Stob Stane, his voice rang out across the hillside.
Festival organiser Susan Stewart told us: “This year’s ride out to Stob Stanes was, as always, very well supported with 157 riders taking part.
“Despite the mist rolling in the principals and their followers enjoyed their ride, all that was missing was the spectacular views.”
The procession then returned to Kirk Yetholm, where the presentation of the prizes took place.
