Impressed by care staff

I would like to support the letter (Southern, January 19) from John Bryden who wrote praising the staff at Craw Wood care home in Tweedbank.

For the past 12 years, The Hawick Buskers have entertained residents at care homes, day centres and sheltered housing all over the Borders, and on an average monthly basis at Craw Wood. I have always been impressed by the devotion and care shown to residents at this home and, indeed, at all the other places we visit all over the Border area.

It would be a shame if the public were to judge this home based on recent bad publicity, and my fellow musicians and singers look forward to our next visit.
