A special fundraising event in memory of Tweedbank youngster Bruce Scott raised more than £1,400.
Bruce was born with congenital heart disease and throughout his life he had to undergo many operations.
Unfortunately, in March this year, he died from complications following yet another operation. He was only 19 years old.
The event, which included a fundraising concert, raffle, quiz and silent auction took place in Reivers Bar in Galashiels on Friday night.
The cash will go to the Borders-based charity Scottish HART in order to buy a Public Access Defibrillator (PAD).
The charity currently provides more than 30 PAD’s across Scotland many of which have been used to save the life of people who have suffered heart attacks.
