THESOUTHERN has three pairs of tickets to give away for a Halloween dance music night in Hawick Town Hall, featuring two leading female singers of the genre.

Saturday, October 29 will see Rebecca Rudd, made famous by performing with Ultrabeat, and N-Trance former vocalist Kelly Llorenna.

Rebecca worked with the M&C Project and Pawn Shop before joining up with Ultrabeat on their 2006 hit Elysium (I Go Crazy).

She also featured on the single Sure Feels Good, released in August 2007.

Kelly Llorenna, pictured above, joined N-Trance in 1992, going on to record Set You Free in 1995, an iconic 1990s dance track which reached number two in the UK charts and sold more than 600,000 copies.

It was released again 10 years ago and was again a top ten hit.

The 36-year-old embarked on a solo career, but also teamed up with Flip and Fill in 2002 to record True Love Never Dies, which reached number seven in the charts.

In the same year Kelly got to number six with Forever, again with N-Trance, before she stopped working with the dance group.

After getting to number 15 with a Donna Summers cover, Kelly began working with N-Trance again.

She currently is working with a new band, Freak Asylum.

Support on the night will come from DJs Ally Brown and Gary Edgar.

Ally is a regular in Blackpool’s clubs while Gary spins discs in Edinburgh venues such as The Lane.

Promoters promise a high quality sound system with laser projections to add to the entertainment.
