Galashiels deli goes out of business
The Borders Food Hall premises at 11 Market Street operated as a delicatessen/licensed restaurant until January when, after a brief closure, it was relaunched as Bistro Eleven and Deli Eleven.
However, the resurrected venture closed on Wednesday of last week without notice.

Borders Food Hall Ltd went into voluntary creditors liquidation last month on February 12 when its directors were named as Donna Marie Paterson and James Paterson.
One creditor, who did not wish to be named, said this week that ordinary creditors will receive nothing as a result of the liquidation.
However, on January 19, three weeks before the liquidation was completed, Ms Paterson, 32, registered two new companies – Bistro Eleven Ltd and Deli Eleven Ltd – and the signage of both the 44-seater restaurant at the rear and the delicatessen at the front was duly changed.

The Facebook pages of the two new companies can no longer be accessed and the Southern was unable to contact Ms Paterson for a comment.
