The Trinity Church congregation in Galashiels is moving back into the High Street building next month after services were held in the town’s Focus Centre, pictured, while asbestos was removed from areas of the church.
The first service is on November 2. It will take place in the church hall until work in the sanctuary is completed.
“We are delighted to be going back to Trinity, even though we will be worshipping in the hall,” said the minister, the Reverend Elspeth Harley, adding: “We held four services in the Focus Centre and also a joint service with the Old Parish and St Paul’s. We were indebted to the Focus for its support.”
