THE third Tweedsmuir Music Festival takes place this Saturday, with an eclectic mix of music from established and up-and-coming bands.
The Peeblesshire village event, which is supported by a £10,000 Lottery award, claims to be one of the “friendliest and relaxed” festivals in Scotland.
The line-up includes The D Downie Big Band, Jim Duncan, All The Angels, Goldrush, Yvonne Lyon, Armadillo, Randolph’s Leap, Scatterbrain and The Shenanigans.
There is a marquee to shelter the audience and musicians should the weather turn foul, and there is also entertainment for children.
Gates open at 1pm and the music runs until midnight - tickets at the gate are priced at £12.50 (under 18s £7.50).
