As managers of the British Heart Foundation shops in Galashiels, Hawick and Kelso, we are always extremely grateful to the local community for donating their unwanted items to help us raise vital funds to save lives locally.
Unfortunately the recent extreme weather conditions have left many people in Galashiels, Hawick and Kelso unable to give, with donations dropping as much as 50 per cent. This has a severe impact on ability to raise funds and we’d like to appeal to the public for help.
For people struggling to donate we can arrange a free collection to ensure those vital donations are still making it into the shops – making a huge difference to heart patients in the Scottish community. To book this free collection please call us on 0844 412 5000.
Everyone can help by donating any unwanted clothing, shoes, accessories, CDs, DVDs, books, toys, furniture, electrical items and bric-a-brac.
