FISH guitarist Frank Usher will perform alongside the Oyster Theatre company on its debut outing.
Oyster founder and artistic director Sue Tickner has written Finale, which will be premiered in Walkerburn Village Hall on Saturday, August 18.
The tale centres on a theatre cast who reached the last in their run of shows and decide to take a trip to the seaside, where they spot a pantomime poster and chose to audition for it.
A resident of Innerleithen, Sue is an experienced producer and director, having worked on a number of shows at the nearby Eastgate Theatre in Peebles.
Her daughter Sara has followed her mum into entertainment, as have talented grandchildren Max and Harvey Mills.
Both have featured in Les Miserables stage shows in London and Edinburgh, as well as on ITV comedy drama William and Mary with Martin Clunes.
Harvey has also featured in West End production Pricilla, Queen of the Desert.
Sue said: “Both great singers, Max will be rocking it with Fish guitarist Frank Usher, live on stage and generally backing the talented Oyster cast who are delighted to welcome their guests on board.”
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are priced at £6 (£4 concession) from Walkerburn Post Office, Home Basics in Walkerburn and the Thrift Shop in Innerleithen. Reservations can also be made by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Meanwhile, auditions for Alice the Pantomime, to be performed on November 23 and 24, will be held on Sunday, September 9 in Walkerburn Village Hall from 3pm for juniors and 4.30pm for adults.
