Film appeal

In 1983 Channel 4 broadcast a film called Accounts.

The film was made in and around Kelso and portrayed the lives of a widow and her two teenage sons who move to the area from Allendale in Northumberland. The film covers a number of issues including financial problems on the farm, business diversification, extra-marital affairs and a memorable coming-out scene when the younger brother announces that he “would rather run with the tups than lie with the ewes”.

The film was last broadcast during the late 1980s and I would dearly love to see it again.

Does anyone have an old copy that they could lend to me? If so, please could they contact me on 01896 757861 or 07763 850087.
